"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."

(Counseling Services for All Ages)

What is counseling?

Counseling is a collaborative process that offers a supportive space to slow down, explore what’s happening beneath the surface, and make sense of your lived experience. As an experiential counselor, my approach focuses not just on talking about problems, but on gently noticing thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and patterns as they arise in the present moment. I believe meaningful change happens through awareness, curiosity, and compassion — not pressure or quick fixes. Together, we work to understand your experience more deeply, build trust in your inner wisdom, and support growth that feels authentic and lasting.

I work with individuals and families ages 5 through wise years, with particular experience supporting clients in the following areas:

  • Anxiety and worry

  • Emotional regulation and coping skills

  • Life transitions and stress

  • Family and relationship challenges

  • Child and adolescent concerns

  • Parenting support

  • Grief and loss

  • Identity exploration and self-esteem

  • Trauma and adverse experiences

  • Depression

  • Narcissistic abuse

  • Benzodiazepine withdrawal support

  • “It’s hard to find a therapist where you’re comfortable enough to share everything, cry unapologetically, and laugh all at once. Ms. Eddie really came in clutch for me. She was there when I needed her most, and she’s stayed there.”

  • “Edwina has provided a safe place for me to explore, navigate, and be an observer of my feelings. She is so knowledgeable and dedicated to gently guiding our sessions and helping me gain perspective and power over my thoughts. I am forever grateful for her care, patience, and encouragement through my therapy journey.”
